ok so last night Bill T. went to a Cavs game with his parents.
We had really really good seats (about 10 rows back from the court)- I was starstruck and giddy (I even told Bill I would sacrifice "stuff" to buy Cavs season tix- Cavs fever baby!)- It was super fun but the guy who seemed to be having the most fun? Lebron James. really. When he wasn't playing, he was 100% cheering on his team and when a guy would do something great- he would jump off the bench and start playing air guitar (you know, the one where you get on your knees and really rock out!)- here is a picture of how many people are on the court just before the game starts...

Latest prank done to me at work:
(if you can't tell- they taped closed the box of Fruity Cheerios)
oh those brainiacs...

Friday fodder
first off thank you jesus it's Friday.
this week was the SLOWEST week this year so far....
so slow, that I drew this picture at work yesterday:
(2 guys I work with that sit in the office and give me a hard time)
I think it's a pretty good rendering.
Bill T- you think it's good?
The other thing I want to share is that on the way to work I heard an old Brian Adams song...(Mike and Mike were on commercial break)- and I remembered that I was in a Brian Adam's video!!!
Back in middle school (I think)- my 2 friends and I went to a B.A. concert- my father drove us and they were both going to sleep over after the show (on a school night!)- at the end of the concert, B.A. announced that anyone who wanted to stay in the audience after the show could bc he was going to be filming a video. The catch, you could NOT leave and come back inside (meaning we could not tell my father, who was coming to pick us up, that we were going to be late)- (this was also before cell phones, although I did have a purple beeper, but I digress)- so, I made the decision to just say and hope my father didn't freak out.
We stayed.
The backs of our heads are in the video.
After the filming, we left the arena to go find my father in the parking lot.
I was sweating bullets with nerves that I was going to get screamed at in front of my friends.
Nope!
He was asleep in the car waiting for us.
He had no clue we were late. The fact that barely any other cars were in the parking lot didn't seem to register with him.
"Have a good time girls?"
YEP!!!!!

For Rob Deer and Nutmeg Girl
who specifically have pointed out to me how lame I have been about my blogging....
to explain:
1. work has actually become quite busy- this is compounded by the fact that the 400lb gorilla has become increasingly immobile (i.e. FATTER), so I've had to do more around the office
2. I feel like Partytard has done such an amazing job blogging- that I kind of threw her the reigns a bit for my blogging public
3. I'm lazy and I'm sorry
so what has been going on with me?
let's see...
- I think I finally learned how to bowl. The Mexican gave us some bowling balls as a wedding present, just in time for our bowling league. While I didn't bowl any record games, my scores were consistenly above my average. Well, they were consistenly above my average about 4 weeks into the league. Before that, I was bowling 80s- wtf? I dont know.
-I got a new haircut. I liked it at first. I dont anymore. I cant pull my hair back into a ponytail and I HATE that. Rob Deer was very complementing (does that make sense?) when he saw me, but otherwise I think I am leaning towards growing my hair out again.
-NCAA Bracket- busted. Seems like if Florida isn't in the tournament, I cant pick teams.
-I really love Gille on Dancing with the Stars
-I really love Adam from American Idol (Legend 33 made a really good observation: Adam looks like KD Lang- spot on!)
-I am loving Real Housewives of NYC
-I have completely lost my honeymoon tan. It was 2 weeks of awesome peeling. Now I am see thru again. want. sun. now.
-We had the LEIC Invasion a couple of weekends ago. Rob Deer, Angry Johnny, and 80s Band came in for a visit:
highlights:- 80sBand wearing flip flops in 30 degree weather...Ari Gold sporting an awesome cane...Angry Johnny battling some gross eye stye...staying up late night (Teets had already passed out) trying to call Erin Andrews...sampling Rob Deer's amazing after hours nachos...listening to the LEIC vs. PartyTard "University of Phoenix (online)"debate...having a 101 degree fever and still managing to make it out all night (me), why did I do this? well someone had to explain to the cab driver that the guys in the back might get a little beligerant, but to please drive us home (sure enough about 5 minutes into the cab ride from Lakewood back home, 80sBand started shouting at the cabbie that he was driving the wrong way. The interesting part about that (other than we were actually heading the right direction) was that 80s band managed to "notice we were going the wrong way" in between him passing out. ahhh that 80sband sure can hang- lol- he can actually, but at some point he is 100% sure to pass out in public...Christie's anyone?
-Teets and I are busy planning our PIB wedding celebration party. It will of course be a great time. I can't wait for blog commenters to meet (Balls Deep, this is Rob Deer- etc etc etc). Everyday I run to the mailbox to receive the rsvps- lame, I know, but whatever. Interesting note: someone sent us their rsvp, checked off that they are coming, but DIDN'T WRITE THEIR NAME!!!!!! I can't wait to find out who temporarily went brain dead whilst filling out this pretty simple form....
-Buster's eye seems to be on the mend. 2 pills a day- 4 drops a day- 4 times a day I have to flush the eye out...SERENITY NOW!!!! SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!
-the ferries are running again! so Teets and I will be PIB bound pretty soon...I've missed trolling around up there...
ok well, I feel slightly better.
oh one last note: people who don't use their blinkers can kiss my (white) ass.
and truckers that dont know how to drive- fuck you!
ok more later....
UPDATE: thank you Jman for pointing out that "complementary" was the word I was looking for (re: Rob Deer liking my hair)....

Donche wish your girlfriend was hot like Teets!
highlights of our honeymoon cruise:
-FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD
-Margaritas!!!!
-getting the Norovirus which prevented tons of weight gain!
Norovirus story: apparently people don't wash their hands much on a cruise. so their dirty germs are everywhere causing this horrible virus to be spread easily. The cruise before ours had it bad- over 250 people- so they completely disinfected our ship before we got on. Surprise surprise, we got it anyway! First Bill was "infected"- what we initially thought was alcohol poisoning (Teets? alcohol?)- anyway after several hours of him hurling we concluded it was the dreaded NV...my turn happened a couple of nights later- let's just say the bathroom was my very best friend for a while- ugh.
-excursions: ATV'ing in Aruba, Ziplining in Costa Rica- AWESOME!
-Donche....ohhh Donche- our drink waiter- I begged Bill to let us adopt him but alas we had to leave him on the ship. Donche is 23 and from Macedonia- he works for several months on the cruise and then goes back to his country and in his words "has 4 day benders"...he was everywhere we needed him to be- our favorite bar- outside by the pool...he had memorized our cruise # so drinks were a little too EASY for us to get. Towards the end of the cruise, we had become so close to him, we were excited to learn that he was banging the casino manager- GO DONCHE! plus his name is fun! He introduced Bill to the "Captain's Bounty"- basically rum, rum, and more rum in one pretty glass. He liked to watch us dance- I think he asked Bill if he was a "professional dancer"- ummmm?!!! Donche and Bill had matching aviator shades- they were like peas in a pod!
-BINGO- we played everyday- we lost everyday- I was not happy for anyone that won. But we learned some fun new Bingo language: "I 16...I 16...sweet 16 never been kissed...RUBBISH!" we even came up with some of our own..."Congrats folks, it's not malignant, it's B9, B9 folks"
-Casino- actually this is not that great of a memory as we got our asses handed to us.
Blackjack? losers
Craps? losers
Free drinks? NOPE, thank you!
-balcony room- I think this is key when you cruise- we had a great view- I miss staring out at the waves
-Canadians- you're from Canada? funny you don't look Canadian (l-e-a-k joke there)- well they like to cruise, I personally think they outnumbered the Americans on board.
-the bill...yeah! it was LOWER than what we thought! go us! I thank the Norovirus for this as well, bc it put us out of drinking commission for a while.
I'll let Bill provide the rest of the commentary.
and we'll post pictures as soon as we figure out our new camera- I even have a video of me ziplining.

I'm Baaaackk
at least for today.
yesterday was a snow day from work because I could not make the drive.
the roads were terrible.
first on the schedule of my day- get caught up on my "girlie tv" bc Bill was not home.
He walked to his downtown office.
then I felt like I needed to be somewhat productive and decided to clean out my closet and dresser.
it took me about 2 hours but when finished I was very proud of myself.
I was excited to show Bill bc as we all know, he is the KING of tidyness and order.
He was very happy as expected.
This morning I was standing in the closet still admiring the organization and Bill walked in and said this: "Isn't being clean fun???!!" with a HUGE shit- eating grin on his face.
I think that was one of the happiest Bill faces I've seen.
lol
not much else to speak of:
-meeting with Mrs. CaptD today to put together our May PIB wedding party invites
-going ice fishing this weekend. I'm 40% scared of being on the ice and 40% scared of the airboat trip to get over to the island. But I'm 100% excited to see the Island winter style.
-last night we went to a sushi place downtown bc i was going stir crazy in the house. the sushi was half off- it was delish, but as usual my body does not eat anything "Chinese/Japanese/Asian" related and feel full- so we went to Panini's and I ate a piece of pizza and some fries- go diet go!

Masked Man
ok I've gotten several requests for this story...
The night we got back to Cleveland from FL we ordered Chinese food.
I volunteered to go pick it up so off I went!
Getting out of the elevator, a man who lives in our building asked me where I was heading. (we'll call him "the suit")
I explained.
He said to wait bc there had been an incident.
We walked over to the security guard together and "the suit" explained what had just happened.
As he was pulling into the parking garage level 1, (my level--there are 3 levels of the garage), he noticed a man run into the garage behind his car, and pull a mask over his face.
"The suit" stopped, leaned out of his window and shouted "what the f*ck are you doing?!", and the guy ran off out of the garage.
Sidenote: if that happened to me, I would have peed myself, just sayin...
Anyhow, "the suit" parked his car and ran up to tell security, which is where he intercepted me.
Now, please remember I had Chinese food waiting for me.
So I asked the security guy to walk me down to my car, so that I could leave.
Hungry Jennie!
He agreed as he was heading down there anyway to look around for the would-be intruder.
As we walked down to my parking level, he got on his radio to alert the other security guard along the bridge about the situation.
I got in my car, he checked outside and off I went.
I called Bill to tell him about what had happened and then focused on driving thru the sleet/rain/ice storm to go get our grub.
When I pulled back into the garage, I was definitely more aware of my surroundings and basically sprinted into our building.
We ate.
As I was cleaning up, Bill got a phone call.
It was the security guard.
Apparently they had caught the intruder.
He had gotten into our building!!!!!!
They think he ran out initially (after "the suit" encountered him) and then hid, watching the security guys look for him.
Somehow he got past them (not too surprising I guess) and was in our building with his mask on when they caught him.
They held him and then had him arrested for criminal trespassing.
When questioned about why he was there, his response was:
"I was going to visit my friend Tony who lives here"
"Tony who?!"
"Uhh I don't know his last name, I met him at a bar"
ok yeah......and the mask?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next call: Bill's dad, the judge.
Next day: Bill's mom hands me a present from his dad: A nice can of tear gas/pepper spray!

Never a dull moment...
I had intended on sitting down and writing a nice blog about our wedding week back in FL...
however, I'm a bit shaken up bc I was just about 5 minutes away from running into the masked man that tried to break into our condo building tonight.
ahhh it's great to be home...
more tomorrow, I promise.
